"After seeing and reading about kettlebell training in magazines and on the television, my friend told me about Liam. With a history of heart disease in my family I already realised that I needed to improve my overall fitness and that motivation was a problem after 'falling out' with the gym and I decided that now was the time to really start training again. And I'm glad i did!
Training with Liam is ideal for me. He visits me at home, is always full of the positivity and encouragemnt that I need yet still keeps driving me forward by regularly monitoring, weighing and measuring my health and performance.
I will happily recommend Liam to my family and friends."

"I first started to training with Liam as I was worried about my fitness levels after an operation and wanted to lose a bit of weight. I also felt that my mobility and flexibilty needed improvement.
I found Liam through a Google search for Wakefield Personal Trainers and was impressed by the fact that he did home visits and was happy to come to me very early in the morning. We got on immediately, he was friendly and made me feel comfortable - all of which helps to make the actual training pass quicker!
I would have no hesitation in recommending Liam to my friends and family"

"Having trained with Liam for just over two months I can not reccommend him highly enough. He was great at motivating me and seemed to know what my limits were right from the start.
After my first session I feared I may never walk again but I stuck with it and after session 3 I not only had the hang of it but enjoyed it so much that I decided to buy a kettlebell so that I could train on my own too. Prior to training with Liam my exercise of choice was running which I thoroughly enjoyed but which didn't seem to give me enough muscle tone so I knew I needed more variety. I am not a fan of weight training as I find it repetitive and boring so thought I would give kettlebells a try.
After 4 weeks I could see a difference in the muscle tone particularly in my arms and stomach and now instead of running 4 times a week I run twice a week and do 2 kettlebell sessions. I can honestly say my body has never been more toned.
The best thing about training with a kettlebell is that a good session only lasts half an hour but believe me you know you've done it!"

"Just had a couple of Kettlebell sessions with Liam and can't recommend him highly enough.
Been using a bell a little while and putting my back at risk with poor technique etc and Liam has corrected that in 2 sessions, mind you i gained a few aches and pains and a bruise or 2 along the way !!
Cheers Liam"

"I have been training with Liam since around February 2008. Suzi and I started with the Kettlebell training which I have to say is one of the most challenging workouts I had ever undertaken. Kettlebells has become one of my true loves in life and some 18 months on we still train with him once to twice a week.
Liam is a very inspiring trainer and is always one step ahead coming to the sessions with different routines and, sometimes even different equipment so the sessions are always interesting.
As I travel for work and find it hard to maintain a routine in the week he also suggested running encouraging me to do my first 5 mile race last July. I now run regularly in between sessions and have the odd 5 and 10k booked in here and there - something I would never do without his encouragement and continuous support. It sounds corny but training with Liam has definitely changed my life and given me more confidence and all I can really say is a great big THANK YOU!"

"I started training with Liam just over a year ago now and the results have been amazing. I was always very conscious of keeping fit and healthy, but had never really had the confidence to push myself. Training with Liam made me realise that I was capable of doing more.
As a result, I now enjoy running regularly in 5k and 10k races and completed my first triathlon last year, which was a fantastic feeling. I would highly recommend personal training to anyone; whether you are a complete beginner or an athlete, Liam will help you achieve new goals.
As a result of training alongside Liam, I have actually decided to study for a personal training qualification myself -something I would never have considered possible if I hadn't have been inspired by my own experience of personal training."

"I started kettle bell training with Liam last year and had quite a few sessions. I found the training very intense and due to that the results were amazing.
After 3-4 sessions I felt stronger and looked more toned and was dropping body fat rapidly.I now have my own kettle bells and train 2-3 times a week. It has kept me toned and the weight off.
When I started I weighed 13 stone, I now weigh 11. It works! Liam kept the workouts varied and interesting. He was always on time and motivated me to achieve my goal - An excellent personal trainer!"

"I only started back at the gym last year after quite a few years off and started training with Liam pretty much straight away.
I wanted to lose a bit of weight, tone up in general and just get a bit fitter. I trained with Liam twice a week and we did a mixture of kettlebells, circuits and light weights. I started doing spinning and classes as well.
Although it was hard, I did start to see the difference pretty much straight away and it was certainly worth it. Having a trainer kept me motivated, and made sure I didn't give up.
I'd happily recommend Liam as a trainer to anyone."
